Support the Stocksigns Team as they take on their biggest challenge yet……
This May, a team of intrepid trekkers from the Stocksigns Group an it’s partner companies will be tackling it’s biggest charity challenge to date, in order to raise funds for the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), Brighter Beginnings Appeal.
This epic challenge will involve the team climbing Mount Toubkal, North Africa’s highest mountain, in under 3 days.
Located within the Toubkal National Park in southwestern Morocco, the summit sits at 4,167 meters high. Completing the climb will not only be a test of fitness stamina and team skills, all climbers face the real possibility of facing altitude sickness as they head for the top!
Over the coming months we will be updating the trials and tribulations as the team start their training regime in earnest….keep checking this page for more info!
10th January 2018
On a cold, wet and dark January night when most (sane) people are at home in the warm, the team got together for their first practice walk. Reigate Hill was illuminated with head torches as the team made their way to the top. A steady pace was set by trek organiser, David Cload as group they found their feet and tested all the new gadgets they have bought for their adventures! A positive start to the training as everyone made it back in one piece and are still raring to go,,,,,
The team are Emma Stevenson, David Cload, Danny Adamson, Maxine Barnes,
Tom Harris (Gatwick), Neil Price, David Dring and Rob Neal (Service Plus) plus Nick Lloyd and Matt Cryer from RoSPA.
