The Stocksigns Way
Through applying a positive & innovative approach we will overcome problems and embrace new and exciting opportunities together.
By taking this approach, we will nurture a great place to work, allowing us to reach our full potential and ultimately share in the company’s success.
Sustainability sits at the heart of all our innovations, every progressive step must be a step towards lowering our carbon footprint and making a positive impact on our environment.
A Positive Impact on our Planet
The goal – Net Zero by 2030
A couple of years back we set ourselves a goal, a goal for both Stocksigns and Messagemaker Displays completely Net Zero by 2030. As such, we have been tracking our carbon footprint for over four years now.
During this time we have achieved Carbon Neutrality through offsetting and reducing our carbon emissions and we are well on the path to achieving our goal of being Net Zero by 2030.
Our Carbon Offsetting Initiatives
• REDD+ Protecting the Amazon and UK Trees
• Providing Clean Cookstoves in Kenya
• Renewable Energy, delivering wind generation in India
Saving the world, one review at a time!
Trees absorb carbon in the atmosphere and provide habitat, shade, shelter, and food for local wildlife.
Starting in 2024, for every Trustpilot review we receive, whether good or bad, we will pay for a tree to be planted as part of Ecologi’s reforestation projects.
Recyclable and Closed-loop compatible signage solutions
As both a manufacturer and supplier, we are committed to mitigating our impact on the environment.
Our temporary construction signage is manufactured using strong, weather-resistant, PVC-free Correx® corrugated polypropylene sheets. The signs can later be returned to our Correx® supplier’s recycling centre, diverting them from landfill.
In addition, all signage made from metal, ACM composite, aluminium and stainless steel is recyclable.
Upgrading to more efficient machinery
We strive to create quality signage whilst protecting our planet.
We have been installing more energy-efficient technologies throughout our business, reducing energy cost whilst maintaining, if not improving, both our quality and output.
For example, our Impala 4 printer is four times faster than our previous printer but uses 1/10 of the energy to do so.
Our energy usage for Q1 2024 dropped about 40% in compared to Q1 2023.
Introduce renewable technology and power generation
In August 2023 we installed solar panels on the roof of our building.
Our solar panels contributing to about a third of our daily electrical consumption, saving 15.30 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.
Since their installation 7 months ago, our solar panels have now generated approximately 15,839 KWh or 15.8 MWh of power.
That is the equivalent of running 113 LED lights 24/7 for a whole year, or running 19 refrigerators for the same amount of time.
Our People
A happy work place is a successful work place, that’s why we invest time, training and
well-being initiatives to keep our team upbeat, motivated and healthy.

Regular Walk and Talk Sessions
Sometimes all you need is a bit of fresh air and a friendly chat.
Members of the Stocksigns team have the option to take part in our bi-weekly Walk and Talk Sessions.
This gives the staff an opportunity to get away from our desks and go for a wander around the local nature reserve whilst taking the opportunity to check in with colleagues.
A proper combo for both physical and mental health!
Bespoke and team training
Stocksigns strives to be a great place to work.
We offer both group training sessions or bespoke training for our staff.
This includes training on topics such as ESG/CSR and Cybersecurity, or career-specific development and certified courses to further a member of staff’s career.
Nurturing and developing our staff allows us to provide an exceptional personal service.
Quarterly Team Building Events
Team building with a side of good food!
Each quarter the entire Stocksigns team take some time to celebrate our recent wins, celebrate our colleagues, have some fun with a team building exercise and treat ourselves to a tasty meal.
Sometimes our Demo Room becomes a pizzeria, other times we have a barbecue outside the office, the possibilities are endless!
Charity Fundraising and Volunteering
We know the value of giving back to the community. Every year the team takes part in fundraising events, including challenging hikes and climbs and sleeping rough to raise funds for the homeless.
Our staff also have the opportunity to take part in our quarterly volunteering initiative, helping out both around our local area around Stocksigns HQ and with The Children’s Trust.
Charities we have supported
- YMCA (Redhill)
- The Lucy Rayner Foundation
- St Catherine’s Hospice
- The Children’s Trust
Litter Picking in the local area
Sometimes the biggest difference can come from the smallest of actions.
As part of our quarterly volunteering initiative, members of the Stocksigns team take part in collecting all kinds of litter from around the local area around our HQ in Surrey.
Some of our most notable finds in these litter picks include many leftover maccies wrappers, a multi coloured children’s toy and even an entire scooter that was abandoned in the bushes!
Our Latest Charity Climb: Mt Olympus
Onwards and upwards, to the top of Mt. Olympus!
Each year the Stocksigns and Messagemaker Displays team take part in an ambitious mountaineering climb with customers and suppliers to raise money for charity.
In June 2024 the team tackled ‘The Home of the Gods’ Mt. Olympus, a massive 9500ft mountain in Greece.
This year we raised an amazing £17,036 for The Children’s Trust.
Gardening Volunteering
The grounds at the Children’s Trust play an important role in providing spaces for children and their families, to relax and reflect.
The gardens offer a space for fresh air, play, sensory development and are a vital part of The Children’s Trust life. The 24 acres of woodland and gardens can become difficult to maintain, that’s where we come in.
The Stocksigns team aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty (quite literally) and help by clearing out weeds on the grounds.
